Santa Cruz & Montana Christmas 2006...
We had to start our vacation 5 days late due to
the Denver airport snow closure, at first this seemed like a bad thing,
since we were so ready to go on vacation and my in-laws were waiting for
us & had planned all kinds of fun things for us to do...since we stayed,
I got to see my sister give birth to her baby girl & we got to spend
Christmas eve at my parents & then we flow to Montana on Christmas
day... hubby's family, our family got together in Montana for a holiday
vacation, this was my first time there in the snow, I have to report
that Montana is just as gorgeous in the snow as it is in the summer
time...below are some photos of our fun time over this past holiday
season...
|

the newest member of our growing family,
my sisters little girl...is she sweet or what, here she is only
2 days old on Christmas eve....
|
|

my mom & dad & the grandchildren clan...there is
one more on the way from my brother & sister in law, and yes I
am working on one too...mom made a ton of yummy Persian
foods...I was too busy taking my place at the table to take a
photo... |
|

hubby & brother, our first day in Montana we woke
up to the snow...
|
|

actually we woke up to hubby's dad fighting the
elements outside...he looked like he was having fun in the
snow...
|
|

Day after Christmas we finally got to take a
family photo...it was so cool that we were all there
together...mom in law finally got grandma to smile, well just
barely...
|
|

Hubby & I waking up & starting to
relax after months of just going and going...
|
|

Dubby's most favorite place to sit over the
holidays...under the Christmas tree... |
|

my mom & dad in law...they spoiled us pretty
good on vacation, from the yummy roast & burgers (love Montana
beef) to the gifts of massage & days of ski...life is good when
you got your own suit waiting for you to relax in...we had a
great time... |
|

a random house on a random street, snow is so
gorgeous and so unifying of all... |
|

Nature makes ART, on dad in-laws jeep window
while parked outside...how cool is that? |
|

we went cross country... |
|

I had fun, perhaps a bit too much clothing for
such a gorgeous day outside, it was only about 17 degrees out... |
|

Hubby had fun too, although he really loves
snowboarding more I think...they did that too on another day... |
|

Bozeman mountains, not sure what these are
called, but they are so lovely... |
|

Driving on a road out in the middle of no where,
and here he was a bald eagle, I took this picture from far away,
I did not even know if I got him until later...he was big...
