home: Nor Cal SGB meeting June 30,2007

Hi all,
last Sat the 30th of June, I went to the Nor Cal SGB meeting at Arrow Springs, twice a year Craig & Donna and the rest of the great folks at Arrow Springs host us at the their shop & glass warehouse in Cameron Park...
we show up & pretty much take over the place & they let us, we get the highest discounts for glass purchases weather its one rod or 100 pounds...and not only they feed us a great BBQ (we bring snacks and salads) and they provide a place for our members to try out new tools and torches, they answer all of our questions & just to be extra nice hold a glass fair in the front of their place and give us spaces to sell our goods...the party goes on all day...more food, more glass, more torch time and more awesome glass art to show & tell & sell...

This year I went with my friend and glass buddy addict Garnet, there were no less than 8 other people their that were my students from past classes, it was like a Jelveh Designs class reunion, it makes me feel so good when I see folks that took my class are continuing with the art form and doing so well...below you will find some photos of the day, not too many as I was too busy buying glass and talking with friends...

PS if you live in Northern California and would like to become a member & have fun at our meetings Please click here to contact Sharon Peters & get started...
