SGB Norcal Arrow Springs Aug 26, 2006 Meeting
A couple of weekends ago, on the 26th of Aug 2006,
the nice folks at
Arrow
Springs (home of the
new ASK glass) were kind enough to host the SGB Norcal
meeting. As always Craig & his great staff gave us the red carpet
treatment with great food, lots of kindness & heavily discounted prices
on all of their awesome glass...much fun was had by all.
My hubby drove us & one of ex students turned friend & glass
bead addict, Noel to the meeting, where we chatted with beady friends,
ate food & bought lots of glass & tools.
I have to say it was a really fun event for me, as I had just spent a
couple of days at the hospital with my dad (Wednesday & Thursday of that
week due to a bad reaction to a new chemo drug) & I needed some out time
for sure...My heart was so overwhelmed with the kindness that was shown
to me by everyone there who knew me, from my friend
Sharon
Peters to my buddy
John Rizzi
to the best hug giver Toni of
Wildwoods
Art Glass & Craig owner of
Arrow Springs plus many
others, everyone was so kind & had lots of prayers & good wishes for my
dad & our family. Many people out there might not know how great the
glass bead community really is. I thank each & everyone of you for your
love & prayers...you are the best...below you will find some photos of
the day & some of the gorgeous artwork that was present, honestly there
was so much more art on show, but I was too busy visiting & shopping &
eating & having fun...
